ATHINA MARTURET BIO Athina is a greek venezuelan who lived with her family in countries as Germany, Peru, Egypt, and Venezuela, where her father Spiros Klioumis worked as a successful geologist and her mother Parthena as a homeopathic physician. At age 12, she lived in Cairo which fired her imagination. Living there inspired her throughout her life because of all the romantic experiences she has had there. It is also where she began to be followed by producers and agents. This resulted in her first commercial for a famous brand as well as contesting and winning the Miss Teen Pageant in Alexandria, Egypt. She studied Microbiology and then Marketing in Hannover/Germany. At the university, she gave oriental dance and yoga classes and participated in films. Married to Eduardo Marturet, Music Director & Conductor of the Miami Symphony Orchestra, she is also known for her performance on stage with the 85 musician orchestra as "Princess Scheherazade” in Miami’s Knight Concert Hall. She performed with standing ovations as narrator in presentations such as “The Beatles” and “The Carnival of the Animals”, " Music for the Screen" , "Golden Sounds from Hollywood¨, "Miami Symphony Miso-Chic", "A sleepover in the museum", "Jake the philharmonic dog”, all outstanding performances which she also performed with other orchestras in different countries. From an early age, she performed in theater plays and films all over the world before she studied acting professionally in Venezuela. Along with acting, she studied drama with great personalities in the world of cinematography and TV. Her first appearance as a leading character was in a popular TV Series called "The Golden Cycle of Romulo Gallegos "directed by Cesar Bolívar for RCTV. Her lead role in a legend film music video shot in Venezuela accompanied her to an International Talent Pageant in Miami where she won the award of “The Most Beautiful Face of the World.” She went to Paris for 6 months and then to Greece continuing her preparation as an actress working in a Greek soap opera. She lived in Japan for 1 year where she improved her Kendo martial arts technique and learned Japanese. Her face is still on products as Max factor throughout South America. In Venezuela, she serves as one of the muses of the celebrated icon of cinematography, director Diego Rísquez. Athina started her acting career in Venezuela where she also studied drama, art & modeling. Athina got a leading role in the most famous Mexican-American long TV series that owns an Emmy titled "El señor de los cielos'' (season 7) produced by NBC/TELEMUNDO STUDIO by Marcos Santana, streaming now on Peacock TV USA, Netflix México, and Telemundo USA. She is also a motivational speaker and writer & creator of Athina Divina. She speaks 6 languages and loves dancing and singing. She is the ambassador of the Miami Symphony, the official Symphony of Miami which her husband Eduardo`Marturet, conductor and music director of this non profit organization. She has performed with The National symphony ERT of Athens in Greece September and others around the world.
