Ashley Koclanis

Ashley Koclanis is a senior pursuing her BFA in Dance Performance at Arizona State University. Originally from Southern California, she began her training at Laguna Dance Theatre, where she developed a strong foundation in ballet before expanding into contemporary, jazz, salsa, and lyrical forms. At ASU, Ashley has been involved in a variety of concerts and showcases as a choreographer, performer, and lighting designer, including the Undergraduate Project Presentations, Spring Dance Fest, and Untangled Roots. In addition, she has choreographed two works that were performed at the Breaking Ground Festival at Tempe Center for the Arts in 2024 and 2025. Her work often explores musicality, emotional depth, and human connection. Alongside her performance and choreographic pursuits, Ashley is passionate about teaching and has served as a guest instructor at Laguna Dance Theatre’s Summer Intensive over the past three years. She looks forward to continuing her artistic growth while sharing her love for movement with both audiences and students.
