Asen Dankov

Asen Dankov is a professional Bulgarian screen actor known for his versatile performances in both domestic and international film and television. A graduate of the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts (NATFA) under the tutelage of Prof. Stefan Danailov, Asen brings technical precision and a commanding presence to every production. His extensive television experience includes roles in Bulgaria's most popular series, such as the medical drama Stolen Life (Otkradnat Zhivot), the long-running comedy Stolichani v Poveche (as a prison guard), and the legal drama Men ne me mislete (as Dr. Tomov). He is also featured in the highly anticipated 6th season of the cult crime thriller Undercover (Pod Prikritie). Internationally, Asen has showcased his talent in projects like the historical drama El Corazón del Imperio, the thriller Coercion, and the upcoming feature Un loc sigur (2025). A highly physical actor, Asen is trained in stage combat and tactical firearm handling (pistol). His linguistic flexibility is a significant asset for international co-productions; he is fluent in English and has working knowledge of Russian and Romanian.
