About:
Asaru Buffalo is a South Carolina based actor and teaching artist living in the Columbia area, with a deep love for the city’s vibrant arts community. He is currently rehearsing at Trustus Theatre for Arthur Miller’s The Crucible (February 20 to March 14), where he will appear as Reverend Hale. He fell in love with taking audiences on adventures all the way back in 2015 and never even for a moment considered stopping. Over the next decade, he dedicated himself to exploring different ways to live authentically in a shared moment. Theatre is more than art, it is ritual, the act of trying to change someone’s heart that you are meeting for the very first time requires a special focus and an willingness to learn. Whether it is love, sorrow, adventure, or heartbreak, he is always enamored by how human the whole ordeal is.
