Ara Butler

Her passion for film derived from her roots as a performer. Before her time at Boston University Ara attended Manhattan's Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music, Art, and Performing Arts, studying as a vocal major. Continuing her love of being on stage she went on to act in Boston University theatre productions including "Into the Woods" as the Evil Stepmother and in Eve Ensler's "The Vagina Monologues" as both Coochi Snortcher and Sex Worker. Most recently she was in an off-broadway production entitled "Riqueño," and a Featured Rioter on Epix's "Godfather of Harlem. Ara's original song "Winds of Change" was self-released and continues to raise money for underprivileged and underrepresented communities in the New York City area. https://aracelia.bandcamp.com/track/winds-of-change
