Anastasia Mukhtarova

I'm Anastasia, a London-based actor with a bold, unafraid, and experimentive approach to performance. I first stepped onto the stage as a child and instantly fell in love with acting. After a break, I returned to it with full focus and have been training intensively since January 2025 in Actor's Lounge in Canterbury and now at IDSA in London. My background is in journalism and media production, so I’ve had the chance to work behind the scenes as well—which gives me a deeper understanding of storytelling from all angles. I work across theatre, film, and television, and I’m especially drawn to drama, horror, and comedy—anything that allows me to explore the depth and complexity of human experience. I'm fluent in Russian and currently perfecting both my RP English and General American accents. I also bring a range of physical skills to the table—horse-riding, ballet, archery, and two years of vocal training. I love being physical with characters and exploring how movement, sound, and stillness can all tell a story. What inspires me most are the stories people carry—the things I read, the productions I see, and the lives I observe. I’m especially drawn to roles that are layered, messy, and human. Give me someone complex and a little bit troubled, and I’m all in.
