Amber Lux Archer

Amber has always been a performer and thrives in creative spaces. She began her professional career in 2012 as a ballet dancer with the Atlanta Ballet, where she received most of her dance education. She has also danced with Columbia City Ballet, Ballet Memphis, and Ballethnic Dance Company. In 2017, Amber began to redirect her focus towards the wide variances of contemporary dance, finding more freedom in movement, accessibility to her creativity, and ability to better express her innermost desires. As a freelance dancer she has danced with Atlanta based companies Fly on a Wall and Staibdance, appeared in the Netflix series “Raising Dion, danced in India Shawn’s “Floating Away” music video, starred as the lead in Anya Pearson’s “Made to Dance in Burning Buildings”, participated in Brine Dance Festival, and has guested with LA based company, ATE9. Her dance career has allowed her to foster self discipline yet remain sensitive to the world around around and within. Amber is also a fitness and yoga teacher, with a passion for helping others become more in tune with themselves through conscious and purposeful movement. She received her 200hr yoga teaching certificate in 2017 and has since taught in studios in both Atlanta, Ga and Portland, Or. She continues to share her practice, teaching privates and small groups. In the fall of 2020, Amber received her personal training certificate with the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Amber is interested in continuing to expand her artistic nature as an actor and model. She enjoys collaborating with open minded people from an array of backgrounds as it helps to deepen her knowledge of the many perspectives of this world.
