Alfred Mwaba

Born in Ndola and raised in Lusaka, Zambia, Alfred Mwaba is a professionally trained actor with international theatre education from GITIS – Russian Institute of Theatre Arts, where he studied under acclaimed theatre master Sergey Ivanovich Yashin. With a commanding presence, deep emotional range, and strong classical training, he specializes in dramatic roles, character-driven storytelling, and multilingual performance. Fluent in both English and Russian, he combines African authenticity with Eastern European theatrical discipline, creating a unique and compelling artistic identity. A gifted baritone vocalist and trained dancer, his performance abilities include Russian classical dance, waltz performance, stage movement, and expressive physical acting. His theatre experience includes performing Shakespearean material such as Othello. Beyond acting, he is passionate about literature, poetry, cinema, and philosophy, drawing inspiration from legendary actors such as Al Pacino and Denzel Washington.
