Alex Burijon

Hello! I’m Alex, a graduate of the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Music and Classics (Greek and Latin). I'm passionate about building community within and among the Arts, whether it’s singing, playing, event planning, directing, or producing. I’m classically trained in voice and violin, and I picked up acoustic guitar and electric bass along the way. I'm currently managing a few part-time artistic administrative gigs, balancing artist management (Schmidt Artists International) with freelance website/video editing (Michael Fennelly, David Neely, KeyedUp Music Project) and writing and producing my first show at 54 Below. I recently wrapped up my time with Robert Gilder as his NYC office assistant, supervising his move from Chelsea to Bryant Park and staffing 40 opera auditions. I met him during my summer in Cooperstown, NY where I served as an Artistic Administration Apprentice for the Glimmerglass Festival's 50th season.
