ALEIDA TORRENT CASELLAS

Aleida Torrent is a Spanish actress whose passion for performance began at an early age through acting and dance. After completing her first year of university, she made the bold decision to fully pursue her artistic calling and enrolled at the Theater School of Barcelona, graduating in 2009. Her professional career launched with the internationally renowned theater company La Fura dels Baus, known for their groundbreaking and visually powerful productions. She made her on-screen debut on the Spanish TV sitcom 13 años y un día (13 Years and 1 Day). In 2009, Aleida moved to Los Angeles to deepen her training, studying at The Beverly Hills Playhouse, Ivana Chubbuck Studio, with Billy O’Leary, and at Margie Haber Studio. Her dedication to her craft quickly led to success, including a leading role in Front Seat Chronicles, which earned the Telly Award for Best Low-Budget Series and the People’s Choice Award in 2012. She also co-starred alongside Jorge Garcia (Lost) in the feature film The Lummox. Her career spans across continents, with prominent work in both the U.S. and European markets. In Spain, she collaborated with acclaimed director Isabel Coixet on Foodie Love (HBO Max), and with Oriol Paulo on Netflix’s The Innocent. Aleida also starred in Der Barcelona Krimi for Germany’s Channel 1, directed by Academy Award-winner Jochen Alexander Freydank. She continued her work with top-tier talent in The Occupant (Netflix), directed by the Pastor Brothers, and in the U.S. network series FBI: International (CBS / Paramount ). Her powerful performance in the independent feature Alone earned her a Best Actress Award at a notable film festival. Most recently, Aleida stars in the upcoming film My Friend Eva, directed by Cesc Gay, premiering in theaters this September. She is currently filming a new Netflix series directed by Laura M. Campos. Aleida brings depth, emotional authenticity, and multilingual range to every role, establishing herself as a compelling presence in both independent and mainstream productions.
