A.J. Thompson (A.J.T.) is an Oklahoma-based filmmaker, actor, and producer known for blending grounded small-town stories with bold, cinematic concepts. A University of Tulsa Film Studies graduate, he has produced and led multiple independent projects through Porchlight Productions, often wearing multiple hats as writer, director, and performer. Drawing from his Indigenous heritage and Southeast Oklahoma roots, A.J.T.’s work explores ambition, identity, and moral complexity while keeping humor and humanity at the center. Whether developing gritty dramas like Ghost Girls or adventurous series like The Secret Chamber of El Dorado, he focuses on stories that connect with everyday people while aiming for a global audience.
