About:
Ainsley Armstrong is a versatile soprano from Ellington, Connecticut, known for her expressive vocal artistry and strong stage presence. A graduate of Wagner College with a degree in Vocal Performance and a minor in Civic Engagement, she has performed in a range of operatic roles, including the First Spirit in The Magic Flute and Bastien in Bastien und Bastienne with Wagner College Opera. Her work with the Wagner College Opera Workshop spans several seasons and includes featured performances such as the First Lady in The Magic Flute and Cunegonde from Candide in the 2022 concert Relationships: In Trust, In Trouble. She was also President of the Wagner College Choir and got to perform with this choir in venues including Carnegie Hall and St. Peter’s Basilica. A proud alumna of the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts, Ainsley pairs her artistic endeavors with a commitment to service. Her minor in Civic Engagement led to a political campaign internship in 2022 and a role as a tutor for West African immigrant women through the NAPELA Foundation. From Fall 2024 through Spring 2025, she is expanding her professional horizons through the Disney College Program.
