Adriane Josef Cabase

Adriane Josef E. Cabase is a graduate of the Bachelor of Arts in Communication program from the University of San Jose–Recoletos, Class of 2026. His work spans journalism, broadcasting, film, theater, and multimedia storytelling, with experience in reporting, content production, scriptwriting, and performance. Throughout his academic journey, he was recognized as a Special Academic Awardee, Most Outstanding Intern of the Department of Communication, Languages, and Literature, and a consistent Dean's Lister from 2022 to 2025. He was also a Center for Music, Arts, and Culture (CMAC) Scholar. In journalism and broadcasting, Adriane served as a CESAFI Seasons 23 and 24 Courtside Reporter, a Korea.net Honorary Reporter, and an Intern Reporter at MyTV Cebu. He also worked as a correspondent for The Purveyor Publication. In campus journalism, he served as Editor-in-Chief of The Paulinian Gazette, and earlier held roles as Graphic/Layout Artist and student journalist, alongside leadership positions in campus media such as News Department Head of Josenian Campus Radio, Program Director of Lifelines and Ratsada Rekoleto, and reporter for Josenian Campus Roundup. His involvement in student organizations included serving as Secretary of the 4th Congress of the Josenian Communication Society. He also contributed to multimedia production through Forward Publications Creative. In film and performing arts, Adriane worked as a writer, actor, assistant director, and screenwriter on several student productions, including YSMAEL (CINE-U Film Festival / BisayaFlix 2024), Pride (Binisaya Film Festival 2025), Pagdawat (CAMVAS Film Festival 2025), and Tisay! (CINE-U Film Festival / CAMVAS Film Festival 2026). He was an active theater performer under Teatro de Recoleto from 2024 to 2026. Passionate about storytelling across different platforms, Adriane continues to pursue opportunities in journalism, broadcasting, film production, media development, and the performing arts while connecting with professionals in the creative and communications industries.
