Cardi B is officially stepping into a brand-new chapter — as she and her boyfriend, NFL wide receiver Stefon Diggs, have welcomed their first child together, a baby boy.
The 33-year-old rapper subtly revealed the news in a November 13 Instagram post, reflecting on the major shifts happening in her life. While lip-syncing to her track “Hello,” Cardi shared:
“My life has always been a combination of different chapters and different seasons… I brought new music and a new album to the world! A new baby into my world… one more reason to be the best version of me.”
The baby boy, born just weeks before Diggs’ 32nd birthday, is Cardi B’s fourth child and her first with the New England Patriots wide receiver.
She offered fans another glimpse into her excitement on Instagram Stories, posting a video of two floral pink strollers and happily declaring, “I just had a boy; I love this stroller!”
USA TODAY has reached out to representatives for both Cardi and Diggs for comment.
A Big Year for Cardi B
The announcement comes amid a series of major milestones for the Grammy-winning artist. In September, Cardi dropped her highly anticipated second album, “Am I the Drama,” and confirmed she’ll embark on her biggest tour to date in 2026.
She also went public with her relationship with Diggs earlier this year. The couple confirmed their romance in June through a PDA-filled Instagram post, showing the pair cuddling on a yacht.
In a September interview with CBS Mornings, Cardi opened up about her pregnancy and her partnership with Diggs:
“I feel very strong… I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby, and me and my man, we’re very supportive of each other.”
A New Beginning After a Public Breakup
Cardi’s relationship with Diggs comes after her widely discussed split from rapper Offset, the father of her three older children: daughters Kulture and Blossom, and son Wave.
Despite the challenges of the past, Cardi’s latest announcement makes it clear she’s embracing this next phase with confidence, joy, and renewed purpose.
