A SAG commercial is casting background actors (extras) who are African American kids—boys and girls ages 6–18—for a commercial shoot in the Augusta, Georgia area. This is a local hire opportunity, so talent must be able to work as a local in/near Augusta, GA. If your child is camera-ready and comfortable on set, this is a great chance to gain on-set commercial experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Appear on set as a background extra in a SAG commercial scene.

• Follow on-set direction from the assistant director and production team.

• Maintain a professional, positive attitude during holding and filming.

• Arrive on time, ready to work, and remain available for the full shoot window.

Requirements

• African American kids, boys or girls, ages 6–18.

• Must be able to work as a local hire in the Augusta, GA area.

• Must have a recent, clear photo that reflects your current look (no filters or distracting backgrounds).

• Prior on-camera experience is a plus but not required.

Compensation

The feature film Scary Movie 6 is now seeking experienced child actors for featured background roles. This highly anticipated installment of the iconic comedy-horror franchise will film in Atlanta, GA, and will feature scenes that combine humor, suspense, and classic Scary Movie-style satire. Young performers will appear in interior mall scenes reacting to staged moments of chaos and surprise.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray background characters reacting naturally to thrilling or comedic situations.

• Follow direction from the production team to express appropriate emotions such as fear, shock, or curiosity.

• Participate in interior mall scenes under professional supervision.

• Maintain focus and professionalism during long shoot hours.

Requirements

• Boys and girls, ages 9–15, all genders and ethnicities welcome.

• Must have prior acting or background experience (film, TV, or theater).

• Comfortable performing in scenes with simulated violence or mild horror elements.

• Not suitable for first-time performers or those sensitive to frightening content.

• Parent or guardian must accompany the minor on set.

Compensation

• $200 for 8 hours, with time and a half after 8 hours.

• 10-hour maximum filming day.

• Paid, non-union background role.

Casting Featured Background Child for HBO Series

A major returning HBO series is casting a young blonde boy, ages 6 to 8, for a featured family child role. This is a great opportunity for young talent to be seen in a high-profile production. Filming will take place over multiple days, and production is looking for a child who can be available for all shoot dates. Parental support and proper documentation are required for legal compliance and casting consideration.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray a featured child in family scenes for a scripted HBO series
• Follow on-set directions from the director and production team
• Participate in scheduled wardrobe fittings and filming days as needed

Requirements

• Blonde boy, age range 6–8 years old
• Must be legal to work in the U.S. and have proper I-9 documentation
• Must confirm availability for all filming days
