Job Description

A paid voice acting opportunity is seeking two student voice actors to record a short cinematic audiobook sample for The Lover’s Quarrel. The project is looking for one male and one female student voice actor interested in developing professional recording experience and adding paid voiceover work to their portfolios. This opportunity is particularly suited to students studying voiceover, theatre, broadcasting, radio, film, audio production, communications, or related creative fields. Selected talent will record a polished 2-minute cinematic audiobook sample using an authorized college recording studio.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform voiceover material for a cinematic audiobook sample.
• Deliver an expressive and engaging vocal performance appropriate to the material.
• Record approximately two minutes of finished audiobook content.
• Follow creative and performance direction provided by the project team.
• Coordinate access to an approved college recording facility.
• Maintain professional audio recording standards throughout the session.

Requirements

• Must currently be a student.
• Seeking one male voice actor and one female voice actor.
• Must have authorized access to a college recording studio.
• Must have permission for a project representative to attend the recording session.
• Students studying voiceover, theatre, broadcasting, radio, film, audio production, communications, or related disciplines are encouraged to apply.
• Must be able to deliver a clear, expressive, and cinematic voice performance

Compensation

$75 per selected student

Voice Over Artist – NYS Department of Public Service

Job Description
A non-union voice over artist is needed for a two-minute informational video for the NYS Department of Public Service. The role calls for a seasoned performer with a strong yet comforting tone that captures the resilience of blue-collar New Yorkers. This is a remote recording opportunity with a full buyout in perpetuity for usage on the department’s website and social media channels.

Job Responsibilities

• Record a two-minute script with a strong, clear, and engaging delivery.

• Capture the desired tone that is both authoritative and reassuring.

• Provide high-quality, raw, clean audio files ready for professional use.

• Work closely with the production team to ensure alignment with project vision.

Requirements

• All genders welcome; middle-age sounding voice preferred.

• Must be a seasoned voice over artist with prior experience.

• VO reels or clips are mandatory for submission.

• Remote recording only; must be able to deliver high-quality audio from home setup.

Compensation

• $800 session fee + $300 buyout + 10%.

• Full buyout in perpetuity for web and social media use.
