Job Description:
Ark Studio is hiring a Video Editor for an ongoing remote contract based in London. This role focuses on editing branded and documentary-style content across long-form and short-form formats. The ideal candidate has strong technical editing skills, experience with commercial content, and is comfortable working independently while collaborating with the creative team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Edit long-form and short-form video content.
- Perform color grading, sound mixing, and text animation.
- Create captions and social-ready deliverables.
- Produce cutdowns and reformatted videos for social platforms (9:16 and 16:9).
- Collaborate on an ongoing pipeline of branded and documentary-style projects.
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in DaVinci Resolve.
- Excellent eye for color, pacing, and detail.
- Experience editing branded or commercial content.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and strong communicator.
- Graphic design experience is preferred but not required.
Compensation:
- Junior position with day rate.
