MONAD is hiring a part-time, remote Video Editor to help tell the stories of artists from around the world. The editor will transform raw footage into intentional, visually engaging content across exhibition recaps, artist stories, social media, and future MONAD programming. The ideal candidate has strong creative instincts for pacing, sound, color, and visual storytelling, understands art and culture, and can contribute ideas that support MONAD’s evolving creative direction.
Job Responsibilities
- Edit exhibition recaps and artist-focused stories.
- Create engaging social media video content.
- Edit long-form content for YouTube.
- Transform raw footage into polished, intentional visual stories.
- Apply strong judgment in pacing, sound, and color.
- Collaborate creatively and contribute ideas to MONAD’s content direction.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong understanding of pacing, sound, color, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to edit exhibition, artist, social, and long-form content.
- Interest in art, culture, and creative storytelling.
- Ability to work remotely and independently.
- Resume and portfolio required when applying.
