Job Description

Engelhart Studio is seeking an entry-level editor to join its production team and work on several upcoming projects. This paid opportunity is designed for someone early in their editing career who wants hands-on experience, mentorship, and the chance to develop their post-production skills. The selected editor may also have the opportunity to earn an editor credit on a feature film currently in post-production.

Job Responsibilities

• Edit film and video content for current production projects.
• Work with the production team throughout the post-production process.
• Organize footage and create polished edits based on creative direction.
• Incorporate feedback and revisions into assigned projects.
• Develop practical editing skills through real-world production work.

Requirements

• Entry-level editor, film/media student, or recent graduate.
• Early in an editing career and eager to learn.
• Basic understanding of video editing and post-production workflows.
• DaVinci Resolve experience is a plus.
• Must currently reside in the U.S.
• Southern California-based candidates are preferred, but other U.S. locations may be considered.
