Job Description: We are seeking a talented actor to portray the Doctor, a knowledgeable and professional figure in an upcoming TV series set in 18th-century Jamaica. The Doctor is straightforward and experienced, providing medical care and counsel in a demanding environment. This role requires a commanding presence and an ability to convey wisdom and professionalism in challenging situations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Portray the role of a Doctor who is professional, knowledgeable, and straightforward in providing care and medical advice to other characters.
- Participate in scenes that require delivering medical counsel and advice in a historical setting.
- Work closely with the director and fellow actors to ensure the portrayal of an authoritative medical professional.
- Attend rehearsals, fittings, and filming in multiple international locations.
Requirements:
- Male actor, Black, aged in his 60s.
- Must be able to convincingly portray a knowledgeable and experienced doctor.
- Prior acting experience in professional or authoritative roles is preferred.
- Must be available for filming in both the UK and Jamaica.
- Ability to handle scenes with a focus on dialogue and professional expertise.
