Jazz Band Members – Trio

Job Description
A production is seeking talented male musicians to form a jazz trio for an upcoming project. The team is looking to add diversity and dynamic energy within the group. Musicians will perform as part of a small ensemble, bringing authentic jazz rhythm and atmosphere to the set.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform live jazz music as part of a three-piece band

• Maintain continuity across both scheduled filming days

• Bring professional skill and collaboration to on-set performances

• Supply and manage your own musical instruments and equipment

Requirements

• Male musicians, ACTRA or non-union welcome

• Must have experience performing jazz music

• Must provide your own instruments

• Positions needed:

  • Stand-up bass player

  • Keyboard player (with stool)

  • Drummer with a small kit (snare, high-hat, kick, brushes)

• Available for two consecutive filming days

Compensation

• Standard session pay rate (SSE)

• Showcase authentic musicianship and stage presence

• Take direction from the creative team to deliver strong performances

Requirements

• Real Singer: Black male, ages 25–45, non-union

• Guitar Player: White male, ages 25–45, non-union

• Drummer: Latinx female, ages 25–45, non-union

• Trumpet Player: White male, ages 25–45, non-union

• Bassist: Black male, ages 25–45, non-union

• Must be available for callbacks, fittings, and filming on scheduled dates
