We at DSCasting are casting a very special documentary fashion story/editorial photo shoot for The Atlantic. We are looking for amazing and fashionable Black women in Los Angeles who have INTERESTING, UNIQUE, TRENDSETTING STYLE, (ages 21-80’s) who work or retired from these types of professions:
Possibilities include: manual labor, food service, manufacturing, warehousing, supermarket workers, service employees (retail, bus drivers, postal workers), etc!
Our ideal women love putting together fabulous outfits and shine when they walk into a room!

- WHAT: Editorial documentary fashion story for The Atlantic
- WHEN: If selected, you will be asked to come to a photo studio in LA for roughly 1.5 hours on **Monday, August 2nd**. Daytime flexibility is key but some evening slots will be available.
- PAY: If selected, each individual will receive $150

Job Responsibilities

Participate as a family in a professional photo shoot

Follow direction from photographers and production team

Engage in light activities, including face painting, to enhance the shoot

Represent diversity and bring authenticity to the project
Requirements

Three real families of four (two parents and two children)

Parents: ages 30–45

Children: ages 7–12

At least one family should include an ability diverse child

Families of Indian, Chinese, Pan Asian, or Malay backgrounds strongly encouraged to apply
Compensation

$750 per person, per day
