Job Description
A union production is seeking an ACTRA Stand-In for an upcoming shoot in Toronto. The production is looking for a professional and reliable performer who closely matches the required physical specifications and is available for all scheduled filming days.
This opportunity is open to ACTRA members who meet the casting requirements and can commit to the full production schedule.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as a stand-in for principal talent during production.
- Assist the crew with lighting, camera setups, and scene preparation.
- Remain available on set throughout scheduled filming periods.
- Follow direction from production staff and assistant directors.
- Maintain continuity and positioning during technical rehearsals and setup.
- Arrive prepared and on time for all scheduled workdays.
Requirements
- ACTRA union member in good standing.
- Caucasian male.
- Age range: 40–60 years old.
- Approximately 6’3″ in height.
- Approximately 195–215 lbs.
- Must be available for all scheduled shoot days.
- Must provide union number with application.
- Must submit a full-body photo.
- Must include headshot, height, weight, and contact information with submission.
Compensation Details
- ACTRA Stand-In rate to scale.
- Agency commission of 15% plus HST applies.
