A video game production is seeking talented male voice actors for an upcoming project titled Let There Be Istanbul. The production is casting three distinct roles, including one lead and two supporting characters. This project focuses on strong character-driven performances, emphasizing personality, emotional range, and vocal expression rather than specific accents.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform voice-over recordings for assigned character roles
• Deliver lines with strong emotional depth, timing, and personality
• Interpret character direction and adjust performance as needed
• Record high-quality audio submissions from a home or professional setup
• Collaborate with the production team to meet creative expectations

Requirements

• Male voice actors of all backgrounds encouraged to apply
• Ability to portray distinct character personalities and emotional tones
• Strong vocal range, including comedic, serious, and dramatic delivery
• Access to a quality recording setup for clear audio

Roles

Mehmet (Lead Role)

• Middle-aged male
• Large, round character type
• Requires range: light/slapstick humor and grounded, serious tone
• Moderate number of lines

Memo (Supporting Role)

• Elderly, grumpy convenience store owner
• Thin and short character
• “Can’t be bothered” attitude
• Few lines

Ibo (Supporting Role)

• Young, pompous restaurateur
• Thin and tall character
• Proud, theatrical personality
• Few lines

Compensation

• $2–$4 per line (based on script length and performance quality)

Project Type: Voice Acting (Character Performance — Not Narration)

Age Range: Tweens (approx. 11—14 years old)

Casting: Approx. 5 roles (4 boys, 1 girl — subject to change)

Performance Requirements:

• Strong emotional range (must convincingly express feelings such as excitement, fear, curiosity, sadness, humor, etc.)
• Focus on character-driven voice acting, not narration
• Ability to deliver natural, engaging, and expressive performances
