Job Description:
A new 2026 dance production is seeking emerging professional and strong pre-professional contemporary dancers to join an upcoming creative project. This opportunity leads to a major premiere and calls for performers with expressive movement quality, strong technical ability, and a willingness to explore innovative choreography. Dancers will collaborate in a process that blends contemporary technique with improvisation and mechanical movement textures.

Job Responsibilities:

• Rehearse weekly on Sundays and one weekday evening from January to March

• Participate in the creation of new choreography and movement tasks

• Explore contrasting textures, dynamic shifts, and mechanical movement qualities

• Collaborate closely with the creative team throughout the rehearsal process

• Bring strong technique, versatility, and professionalism to the production

Requirements:

• Contemporary dancers age 18+

• Strong contemporary technique and improvisation skills

• Comfortable with creative tasking and experimental movement

• Ability to embody contrasting textures and mechanical movement styles

• Minimum two years of full-time dance training or equivalent experience
