Job Description

A proof-of-concept psychological thriller short film is seeking crew members for an upcoming production that will serve as the foundation for a planned feature film project. The production is currently hiring a Production Designer/Props Master and a Costume Assistant to help bring the film’s creative vision to life.

Job Responsibilities

Production Designer / Props Master

• Collaborate with the director, producers, and department heads during pre-production.
• Source, organize, and manage props required for filming.
• Assist in creating and maintaining the visual style of the project.
• Ensure props and set elements are available and ready during production.

Costume Assistant

• Support wardrobe preparation and organization.
• Assist with costume continuity throughout filming.
• Coordinate with the production team regarding wardrobe needs.
• Help manage costumes during production days.

Requirements

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work closely with the director, producers, and department heads before principal photography.
• Availability for the production schedule.
• Previous experience in production design, props, wardrobe, or related areas is preferred but not required.
• Must be dependable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Compensation Details

• Non-union production.
• Production Designer/Props Master budget: $150 for props and production design materials (not labor compensation).
• Food provided.
• Transportation provided.
