A London stage production is casting a queer-identifying male actor for an upcoming play performing at the end of August. Producers are seeking authentic talent to portray a layered character in a story featuring LGBTQIA+ themes, intimacy, and cultural identity. Job Responsibilities
- Perform in a live stage production in London

Requirements
- Male with a playing age of 27–34
- Black, South Asian, or SWANA heritage
- Queer-identifying artist or comfortable performing LGBTQIA+ scenes
- Comfortable with references to sex and drug use in the script
- Ideally Muslim or someone with an understanding of Islam
- Previous stage experience or formal stage training preferred
- Based in London or available to stay in London during production

Job Responsibilities

- Bring authenticity, humor, and emotional depth to the role
- Work collaboratively with the writer and other performers
- Participate in the eventual production, subject to development and funding

- Strong acting and character-development skills
- R&D or new-writing experience preferred
- Comfortable working with material involving friendship and men’s mental health
