Job Description: Tymedust Games is seeking a talented voice actor to join our upcoming O2A2 Jam Visual Novel project, which is part of our acclaimed Purgatoryverse series. The game will be a compact, impactful experience, featuring a single character with rich narrative depth. The ideal candidate will bring to life a poet character with a Victorian/Gothic aesthetic from the mid-19th century, delivering lines with an intellectual, old-timey American accent.
Responsibilities:
- Provide voice recording for approximately 1000 words of script, ensuring delivery aligns with the character’s Victorian/Gothic theme and persona.
- Record and submit three different takes of each line to provide varied emotional interpretations.
- Maintain high audio quality and clear articulation in recordings, free from background noise.
- Collaborate remotely with the production team to meet the artistic vision of the game.
Requirements:
- Strong vocal performance skills with the ability to convey a range of emotions and a sense of historical context.
- Ability to perform with an American accent; previous experience in voice acting is preferred but not required.
- Must have access to high-quality recording equipment to produce clean, clear voice samples at 44.1kHz/16-bit resolution.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines, specifically by June 22nd for audition submissions.
Compensation:
- $100 flat rate for the complete project.
- Payment will be made via PayPal upon successful delivery of the final voice recordings.
