Job Description

An exclusive musical theatre performance workshop is now accepting auditions for performers ages 9–18. Held at London Studios, this two-day on-camera musical theatre experience offers aspiring young talent the opportunity to train with Emmy-nominated casting director Rob Kelly and a leading West End musical director. The program is designed to help performers develop their screen performance skills while learning from experienced industry professionals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Participate in a two-day musical theatre performance workshop.
  • Perform musical theatre material for the camera.
  • Take part in coaching sessions with industry professionals.
  • Develop on-camera performance and musical theatre skills.

Requirements

  • Ages 9–18.
  • Must successfully audition for the program.
  • Interest in musical theatre and screen performance.
  • Must be available to attend the workshop in London.

Compensation

  • This is a paid training program.
  • Course fee: £200.

Job Description

A production team is seeking three strong male actors ages 40–50 for the development and eventual production of ACT TWO, a one-act play by Robyn Dickinson, based in the Bromsgrove/South Birmingham area. The play follows three lifelong friends whose decades of friendship and banter conceal the things that matter most. Described as funny, raw, and human, the production features three substantial roles and aims to encourage conversations around men’s mental health while supporting awareness and fundraising efforts.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform one of three substantial male roles in ACT TWO
  • Participate in the play’s initial research and development process
  • Collaborate on character and script development
  • Bring authenticity, humor, and emotional depth to the role
  • Work collaboratively with the writer and other performers
  • Participate in the eventual production, subject to development and funding

Requirements

  • Male actors ages 40–50
  • Strong acting and character-development skills
  • R&D or new-writing experience preferred
  • Comfortable working with material involving friendship and men’s mental health
  • Interested actors should contact the production for an audition pack

Compensation

Initial R&D is unpaid.
