Job Responsibilities:

  • Portray the character “[Trevor]”, an individual aged 18+ playing a 16-year-old, navigating the complexities of gender identity.
  • Demonstrate a strong connection to the character’s emotional arc, engaging audiences with authenticity and care.
  • Collaborate with the director, writers, and other cast members to develop a deep understanding of the character and storyline.
  • Attend all rehearsals and workshops as scheduled, showing commitment to the role and the production.
  • Perform songs as required for the role, demonstrating vocal strength and control.

Requirements:

  • Actors must be 18 years of age or older to submit, while playing a 16-year-old character.
  • Pronouns: He/They, non-binary, and gender nonconforming actors are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Vocal Range: C3-Bb5, with a need for strong vocal capabilities.
  • Availability: Must be a local hire in NYC and available in June 2024.
