Production Details:
Lavender Casting is currently seeking individuals to fill background model roles for an upcoming runway show segment. We are looking for talented Black models, both men and women, who are comfortable and experienced in walking on a runway. This opportunity is open to both union and non-union members who meet our casting requirements.
Possible Work Dates:
- Tuesday, February 27
- Wednesday, February 28
- Thursday, February 29
Please note that you must be available on all listed dates to be considered for casting.
Job Responsibilities:
- Walking on the runway in a professional manner, as directed by the show’s choreographer and director.
- Wearing designer clothing and accessories with confidence and poise.
- Taking direction from production staff and adapting to changes in the show’s requirements.
- Being punctual and prepared for all fittings, rehearsals, and show dates.
- Collaborating with other models, stylists, and production team members to ensure a seamless performance.
Requirements:
- Must be registered with Central Casting.
- Identify as Black, comfortable portraying a model on a runway.
- Prior modeling or runway experience is highly preferred.
- Ability to walk confidently and professionally on a runway.
- Must be available for all listed work dates.
- Professional demeanor and ability to work well under pressure.
- Flexible and able to adapt to last-minute changes in production schedules.
Compensation Details:
- Rate for Union/Non-Union (U/NU): $218 for an 8-hour day.
- Overtime and additional compensation will be in accordance with industry standards and union regulations.
