Storyline: Benjamin, a working class gay man living in Toronto, struggles to obtain expensive healthcare after being assaulted by a stranger.
ROLES
- [MALCOLM] 25 to 45 years old, all ethnicities male. Malcolm is a tall, strong man with a beautiful smile who is sensitive and in touch with his emotions. Malcolm is HIV positive but is undetectable and lives a healthy life, but is still unpacking some trauma surrounding his experience. He works as a handyman and plumber and has a steady income, and is therefore looking for something more serious when it comes to romantic relationships. He is kind, sensitive, but a bit guarded. He likes to work with his hands. 4-5 DAYS. $300.00/day. NOTE: Partial nudity required – Actor will be topless, and buttocks shown from behind. One short scene where implied intimacy is required. LEAD
- [ARIEL] 25 to 39 years old, all ethnicities gender fluid/non-binary person. Ariel is Benjamin’s best friend who is queer and gender-fluid. They are bubbly, colourful, fun, effervescent, sarcastic and the most loyal friend anyone could ask for. They are empathetic, but aren’t afraid to tell people the truth or express what they think about any given situation. No Nudity Required. 4 – 5 DAYS. $180.00/day PRINCIPAL
- [OSCAR] 25 to 39 years old, all ethnicities male. Oscar is a “bad boy” who is charming but a bit careless. He is Benjamin’s ex-boyfriend and they used to make music and tour together. He is handsome, but a bit rough, and he likes to show off his body whenever he gets a chance. Oscar jumps from relationship to relationship and often has trouble staying loyal to one person. 1 DAY. $180.00/day.
