Project Details: We are casting for a new TVF show scheduled to shoot from October 2023 to January 2024. The chosen actor will be expected to commit to a long-term contract.

Character Description:

• Name: Shirley
• Age Appearance: Early 30s
• Background: Film school graduate, currently freelancing in various creative roles. She’s a city girl with strong ideals and opinions about the world. Shirley is highly supportive of the decision to bring her in-laws from a village in Haryana to live with them. This significant change turns her life upside down.

Job Responsibilities: The selected actor will be responsible for embodying the character of Shirley bringing her to life on screen. This includes the ability to improvise effectively, especially in a one-minute scenario where Shirley attempts to introduce a classic foreign cinema film to her in-laws.

Improvisation Details:

• Duration: 1-minute maximum
• Scene: On the first night in Mumbai, Shirley tries to introduce Amrish’s parents to a classic foreign cinema film.
• Shot: Assume a mid-shot, with the camera lens representing the parents and the TV positioned on one side of the camera.

Language Requirements:

• Fluency in Hindi and English is essential.

Requirements:

• Actors based in India are invited to apply.
• Both experienced actors and freshers are welcome.
