Job Description
An upcoming Richard Linklater feature film is seeking expert-level singers to portray 1960s party guests in Austin, Texas. The production is looking for men and women ages 40–65 of any ethnicity with strong professional singing abilities. Female singers should perform in alto or soprano ranges, while male singers should perform as tenors. This SAG-AFTRA opportunity is ideal for experienced vocalists interested in performing as part of an on-camera singing group.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform as part of a singing group in a Richard Linklater feature film.
- Portray a 1960s party guest in on-camera scenes.
- Perform assigned vocal material at an expert level.
- Collaborate with fellow singers and the film production team.
- Follow musical and performance direction throughout filming.
- Maintain vocal consistency and professionalism during production.
Requirements
- Men and women ages 40–65.
- Open to all ethnicities.
- Expert-level singing ability required.
- Women: Alto or soprano vocal range.
- Men: Tenor vocal range.
- Previous singing or performance experience required.
- Must be able to work in Austin, Texas.
Compensation
- SAG-AFTRA Basic Agreement Group Singer Scale.
- Approximately $3,500 per week.
