A proof-of-concept psychological thriller short film is seeking crew members for an upcoming production that will serve as the foundation for a planned feature film project. The production is currently hiring a Production Designer/Props Master and a Costume Assistant to help bring the film’s creative vision to life.
Job Responsibilities
Production Designer / Props Master
- Collaborate with the director, producers, and department heads during pre-production.
- Source, organize, and manage props required for filming.
- Assist in creating and maintaining the visual style of the project.
- Ensure props and set elements are available and ready during production.
Costume Assistant
- Support wardrobe preparation and organization.
- Assist with costume continuity throughout filming.
- Coordinate with the production team regarding wardrobe needs.
- Help manage costumes during production days.
Requirements
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work closely with the director, producers, and department heads before principal photography.
- Availability for the production schedule.
- Previous experience in production design, props, wardrobe, or related areas is preferred but not required.
- Must be dependable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Compensation Details
- Non-union production.
- Production Designer/Props Master budget: $150 for props and production design materials (not labor compensation).
- Food provided.
