A short film is seeking a talented non-union female actor for the lead role in a romantic sci-fi story exploring technology and human connection. Set in the near future, the narrative follows Allie, a pragmatic but lonely office worker who tries an AI matchmaking app. When she starts to let the app’s predictions dictate her actions, she risks sabotaging a genuine connection.
Job Responsibilities:
• Portray a nuanced character navigating emotional vulnerability and romance
• Participate in 2 on-screen kissing scenes (professional and respectful environment assured)
• Collaborate with the director and cast to bring authenticity and depth to the story
• Be available for filming at the end of June in Etobicoke
Requirements:
• Female presenting, age 20–28
• Strong acting skills with the ability to portray emotional range
• Comfortable with romantic scenes (including two kissing scenes)
• Non-union
• Based in or able to work as a local in the Etobicoke/GTA area
