A virtual production short film is casting several roles for two shooting periods: an initial session on December 3rd, 2025, and a second session in late Spring 2026. Created by IADT Immersive Media Degree students, this project offers valuable experience, travel reimbursement, credit, and showreel material. The film involves green screen and on-location performance, with some characters eligible for motion capture and voice-over opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform scripted dialogue on green screen and practical locations

  • Convey strong emotional presence in a dramatic narrative

  • Collaborate with student filmmakers in a professional, supportive environment

  • Participate in potential motion capture and voice-over sessions (specific roles)

Requirements
Roles include:

Roles Required December 3rd, 2025

  • Mother – Female, supporting role, playing age 30–45

Roles Required Late Spring 2026

  • Meave (Lead) – Female, 18–27

  • Young Meave – Female, 9–12

  • Mother – Female, 30–45

  • Father – Male, 30–45

  • Priest – Male, 40–60

General Notes:

  • All roles have equal screen time and dialogue

  • Acting experience preferred, especially for motion capture/voice-over in Priest and Father roles

  • Flexible casting for applicants slightly outside age descriptions

Compensation

  • Unpaid, but travel expenses covered

  • Showreel footage and credit provided
