A professional dance opportunity is seeking dynamic, high-energy performers with strong technique and experience in Hip-Hop, Jazz, and Contemporary. Casting is open to dancers 18+ who can deliver polished performance quality and submit current professional materials, including a dancer reel and headshot. A passport may be required if booked, and solo room accommodation may be available for confirmed talent.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform Hip-Hop, Jazz, and Contemporary choreography with strong technique and high energy.

• Submit professional casting materials and be prepared for follow-up auditions/booking steps if selected.

• Maintain a professional attitude, punctuality, and readiness for rehearsals and performance commitments.

• Travel if booked (passport may be required depending on the engagement).

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.

• Dance background in Hip-Hop, Jazz, and Contemporary with strong performance ability.

• Height requirements:

  • Females: 5’2”–5’6” (157–168 cm)

  • Males: 5’9” (175 cm) and up

• Required submission materials:

  • Updated resume

  • Professional headshot

  • Dancer reel (video link or attachment)

• Passport may be required if booked.

• Must be able to DM your info and ensure all materials are current and show your best work.

Job Description

A major motion picture is casting male Lite Feet dancers (all styles and specialties) to portray a featured 18-year-old character. This role centers on a young Black dancer newly living in New York City who discovers Harlem’s Lite Feet dance culture while living with his father, a musician in Harlem. Professional acting experience is not required, and dancers of all backgrounds are encouraged to submit.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform Lite Feet dance choreography and freestyle movement on camera.
• Collaborate with the director and creative team to bring an 18-year-old character to life through movement and performance.
• Attend rehearsals, fittings, and filming as scheduled by production.
• Follow on-set direction, maintain professionalism, and work well with cast and crew.

Requirements

• Male performers who can authentically perform Lite Feet (all styles and specialties welcome).
• Must be able to portray an 18-year-old character.
• Character is described as Black (performers who match this character description are strongly encouraged to apply).
• Acting experience is welcome but not required.
• Must be able to work as a local hire or travel to set (see Location).
• Submission materials typically include a recent photo, name, location, height, and optional dance video (if available).

Compensation Details
SAG-AFTRA applicable agreement (employment offers subject to qualification).
Pay range starts at $921/day, with weekly rates ranging from $4,800–$10,000/week (role/work schedule dependent).

Alvin Ailey–Style Dancers (Duo) for Intimate Dance Sequence

Job Description
A dance project is seeking professional, Alvin Ailey–type dancers with strong training and real performance experience. Talent should be comfortable working as a duo in an intimate, close-partner dance sequence designed for camera. This is a Brooklyn-based dance shoot, ideal for modern/contemporary dancers with excellent artistry, control, and on-screen presence.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform a choreographed intimate dance sequence as part of a duo

• Collaborate with your dance partner and creative team to maintain timing, spacing, and emotional tone

• Arrive prepared, warmed up, and ready to execute movement cleanly for camera

• Take direction quickly and adjust performance choices as needed

Requirements

• Alvin Ailey–style training and professional dance experience (modern/contemporary strongly preferred)

• Must be applying as a duo (dance partners)

• Comfort with intimate partner movement and close physical choreography

• Ability to provide a dance reel or video sample showcasing relevant experience

• Professional communication and reliability for a Brooklyn shoot
