Job Description
A major returning TV series is casting Supporting Artists and SFX performers in Birmingham and surrounding areas. Filming is scheduled from March through July 2026, offering exciting opportunities for continuity work on a high-profile production.

Casting directors are seeking local talent for featured and supporting roles, including SPFX (Special Effects) performers and a wide range of background characters. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience on a large-scale television production.

Job Responsibilities

  • Portray supporting or featured background roles on a scripted TV series

  • Perform SPFX-related actions if cast in special effects roles

  • Follow on-set direction from production and assistant directors

  • Maintain continuity across multiple filming days (where required)

  • Arrive prepared and ready for long filming days

Requirements

  • Must be based in or able to work in Birmingham and surrounding areas

  • All ages and ethnicities welcome

  • SPFX/local action performers encouraged to apply

  • Must be legally eligible to work in the UK

  • Reliable and professional with strong on-set awareness

Compensation
