Job Description

A creative production is casting an older male performer with dance or movement experience for a special project led by an acclaimed director and choreographer. Casting directors are seeking a Sydney-based man who is confident, expressive, and comfortable using movement to tell a story on camera.

This opportunity is ideal for performers, dancers, actors, or individuals with movement backgrounds who bring personality, authenticity, and strong facial expressions to their performance. Extensive professional dance experience is not required, but confidence in movement is essential.

Job Responsibilities

• Participate in a creative film or commercial project
• Perform movement-based actions under the guidance of a choreographer
• Express emotion and character through movement and facial expressions
• Attend rehearsals as required
• Follow creative direction from the production team
• Collaborate professionally with cast and crew members

Requirements

• Male talent ages 50 and older
• Must be based in Sydney
• Dance, movement, or performance experience preferred
• Confident with expressive facial reactions and character work
• Comfortable performing on camera
• Reliable, professional, and able to take direction
• Available for rehearsals and filming

Compensation

• $450 AUD plus superannuation
• Fee covers the shoot and rehearsal time
