Casting Call: 2 Non-Union Actors for a Summer Midwest and Chicago Children Theatre Show

Happy Spring everyone. I’m the AD for The Traveling Lantern Theatre Co. and | am hiring 2 non-union actors ( M/F) for a summer Midwest and Chicago children’s theatre show that will perform at libraries.

This is a 2 actor, portable set,45 minute show that will travel to various locations in II.,IN.,KS.,WI.,MN.,ND. You would return to Chicago in between excursions.

The dates are between June 6 & August 3. This is a great gig for a couple, friends or partners.

This show requires a vehicle/ driver as the props, costumes etc. need to be transported.

Everything is small enough to fit in almost any car.

Compensation for gas, mileage, tolls, parking and overnight accommodations are paid in advance.

The pay is $65.00 per show with most days having multiple shows.
