Job Responsibilities:

  • Act naturally and interact with family members and other fairgoers in various fair settings, contributing to the lively atmosphere of a state fair.
  • Participate in background scenes which may involve various fairground activities.
  • Work under the direction of the film crew to carry out scene-specific actions and movements.

Requirements:

  • Families consisting of members who can convincingly portray a cohesive unit from the 1980s.
  • Open to all ethnicities. Men should have longer/shag hairstyles, and women can have any hair length, with curly hair and perms encouraged.
  • Must be comfortable working in both interior and exterior settings and around atmospheric smoke.
  • Attend a costume fitting in New Jersey prior to filming.
  • Full day/night availability is required as filming may extend to longer hours.
  • Not a SAG-AFTRA covered role; valid identification is required to complete payment forms.
  • Should be local to New Jersey or able to work as locals.

Compensation:

  • $176.10 for 10 hours, with overtime payable beyond these hours.
