Job Description
An Agency is casting contemporary dancers for a new live show at Paradise Club located inside the EDITION Hotel in Times Square, New York City. The production is seeking dancers with strong commercial and lyrical dance abilities who can bring both expressive detail and dynamic movement to the stage.

Selected dancers will perform in a live nightlife production featuring choreographed sequences that combine contemporary movement with commercial performance styles. The show will take place regularly following its premiere, with performances scheduled on weekends.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform contemporary and commercial dance routines in a live stage production

• Participate in rehearsals leading up to the premiere

• Demonstrate strong improvisational skills during choreography and performance

• Execute both delicate, detailed movements and large, high-energy choreography

• Perform movement elements such as floor work, lifting, running, and leaping

Requirements

• Strong contemporary, commercial, and lyrical dance skills

• Comfortable with improvisation and expressive movement

• Physically capable of demanding choreography including lifts and floor work

• Height requirements:

  • Female dancers: 5’8″ and taller

  • Male dancers: 5’9″ and taller

Alpha Nova is now casting for a paid short film production seeking a lead role and professional dancers. The production is looking for dynamic performers who bring confidence, charisma, and strong dance ability to the screen.

The team is casting the role of Mira, a captivating and embodied lead character, as well as skilled professional dancers trained in high-energy performance styles. This project will film on select production days and offers paid opportunities for selected talent.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray assigned role in the short film Alpha Nova

• Perform choreographed dance routines as required

• Take direction from the director and choreographer

• Deliver expressive, character-driven performances on camera

• Maintain professionalism and punctuality during filming

Mira

• Strong ability to command attention on camera

• Must have professional-level dance skills

Dancers

• Professional dancers trained in Pop, Heels, and/or Hip Hop
