Position TL:DR…

We’re looking for an Art Director who enjoys identifying high-level aesthetic goals and championing them across games. This AD has experience in games is at home reviewing artwork and providing thoughtful feedback and drawovers. They are a leader who will mentor and manage a team of talented artists. While they report to our Co-Founder, they will be collaborating with our VP, Creative Director as well.

Who You Are…

  • Experience on several game titles – mobile or console
  • Navigate subjective ideas and feedback redirecting them into clear objectives that reinforce high-level goals
  • Listen and trust their art team seeking to enhance, help and guide.
  • Provide inspiration while creating a space for others to contribute.

What You’ll Be Doing…

  • Building a strong partnership with our Director of Production
  • Prioritizing tasks/initiatives concerning art
  • Provide clarity in art direction via sharable high-level goals
  • Provide timely feedback on art assets
  • Create Art Bibles/pillar documents for game assets
  • Manage and mentor talented Artists

Requirements

  • 15 years experience as an Art Director in Video Games
  • Hands-on experience with Unity
  • Strong technical experience with the ability to build and navigate complex game and asset pipelines
  • Strong understanding of Artistic Principles (composition, color theory, anatomy, etc.)
  • Skilled in mainstream DCC tools, (Max, Maya, Photoshop etc.)
  • Strong management skills

Salary Range

$190,000-$230,000

Job Description
A new student film pilot is seeking a skilled and motivated 1st Assistant Camera (1st AC) to join the crew and assist with pulling focus during production. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate on a creative project, gain hands-on experience on set, and earn IMDB credit for your work. The film is non-union and designed for emerging professionals looking to build their portfolios while working in a fast-paced, learning-focused environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Pull focus and support the Director of Photography during filming

  • Assist with camera setup and maintenance throughout production

  • Collaborate with crew to maintain shot consistency and camera performance

  • Adapt to schedule changes and contribute to an efficient shooting process

Requirements

  • Prior experience or training as a 1st AC preferred

  • Strong understanding of camera focus systems and tools

  • Ability to work with a student team and flexible shoot schedule

  • Must be based in or able to work in Los Angeles

  • Open availability between shoot dates or willingness to communicate your schedule
