We are looking for a Creative Director, Copy to join us on a project-by-project basis with the possibility of a full-time role for the right candidate. You are smart, strategic, capital “C” Creative storytellers who are constantly seeking new experiences, knowledge and growth- because that’s what we are all about at BPI. If you are curious, driven and hungry for the chance to have a real impact at an evolving, ambitious agency, this could be the role for you.
- Overview. Capable of leading and developing top-notch integrated campaigns across brand and social impact marketing. You’ll have one eye on the creative and the other on the strategy, and bring them together to create meaningful campaigns that make an impact for our clients. Collaborate with account strategists, and other creatives to develop creative platforms and channel recommendations that deliver on campaign strategic objectives.
- Leadership. Lead a growing team of copywriters; as the head of the copy department, you know when to let go of the proverbial pencil and how to help others to grow. Able to provide clear, actionable, insightful feedback to other members of the creative team that makes the work better, smarter and more strategic.
You Bring
- 10+ years creative copywriting experience in an agency environment producing a range of marketing communications assets
- Ability to distill complex ideas into easily understood language
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of pitching and selling creative to clients at the highest level (Fortune 1 C-Suite)
- Ability to bring key internal stakeholders along on the creative process and help them buy in to ideas, campaigns and approaches
- Proven track record of leading teams to deliver award-winning work
- A desire to lead, mentor and manage a growing team of copywriters
- Fluency in both digital and traditional channels, including all social media platforms, content creation, and video

BPI offers a comprehensive total compensation package for this role to include but not limited to a targeted base salary range of $130,000-$165,000, an annual discretionary bonus, and generous benefits. Actual base and bonus compensation will be determined by a wide variety of factors, such as skillset, level of experience, and other qualifications.
