Casting Call: Insurance Campaign – Brisbane Casting
Roles:
- Man with Down Syndrome (20s-30s) + Mum (any age): Seeking a man in his 20s or 30s with Down Syndrome and his mother of any age. The man must be comfortable assisting his mother with simple cooking tasks.
- First Nations Female (20s-40s): Looking for a First Nations woman in her 20s to 40s, who works as a Nurse, Social Worker, or in a Medical Professional role.
- Real Father (50s-60s) + Son (20s): Seeking a genuine father-son duo, with the father aged in his 50s to 60s and the son in his 20s.
- Real Farmers (30s-50s): In search of real farmers aged between their 30s and 50s to feature in the campaign.
- Individuals (20s-30s): Looking for individuals in their 20s to 30s from various backgrounds to participate.
- Surfer (12-18 yrs): Seeking a young surfer, aged between 12 and 18 years.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in the filming of an insurance campaign, which may include speaking roles or action sequences pertinent to the character you are portraying.
- Work closely with the production team and director to bring the vision of the campaign to life.
- Attend fittings or meetings as required prior to the shooting date.
- Be available for the entirety of the shoot day as scheduled.
Requirements:
- Must be based in Brisbane or the surrounding areas.
- Should accurately represent the role you are applying for, as per the descriptions above.
- Available to shoot on the designated dates: 7th – 11th of May 2024 (specific shoot day to be confirmed).
- Comfortable being filmed and following direction from the production team.
- Previous acting experience is not required, but may be beneficial.
Compensation:
- Selected talent will receive a fee of $2,500 AUD per person.
- Please note that all fees are subject to tax deductions and superannuation contributions will be added as per Australian legal requirements.
