Job Details

We are casting for an upcoming campaign for a leading electronics company. We are looking for geeky and nerdy individuals who are the resident tech wizards at home or at their job, always being asked to fix things for friends and family, or those with unusual interests or a unique look. If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you!

Roles:

  1. Man (30 – 40s)

    • This is a speaking role, so applicants should be confident in front of the camera.

  2. Woman (25 – 45 years)

  3. Older Man (50s – 60s)

  4. Teenage Girl (15 – 19 years)

Job Responsibilities

  • On-Camera Performance: Perform in front of the camera, delivering lines and interacting as directed.

  • Tech Enthusiast: Showcase your tech skills and passion, whether it’s fixing gadgets or demonstrating unusual interests.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the director and production team to bring the campaign to life.

Requirements

  • Demographic: Must fit the age range specified for each role.

  • Confidence: Particularly for the speaking role, applicants must be confident and articulate in front of the camera.

  • Local Residency: Must be based in Sydney, Australia.

  • Tech Savvy: Ideal candidates are those who are tech-savvy or have a distinctive, nerdy personality or look.

Compensation

  • Teen Talent Fee: $2,500 AUD (less tax, plus super)

  • Adult Talent Fee: $4,000 – $12,500 AUD (less tax, plus super, dependent on the level of feature)

The selected candidate will play a key role in a campaign that highlights the importance of inclusivity and diversity within educational settings.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in a photo and video shoot, portraying a high school student for a major education brand.
  • Follow the direction of the creative team to ensure the campaign’s message is conveyed effectively.

  • Work closely with the production team to ensure an authentic representation of the tradie community.
  • Be available for a rehearsal session prior to the main shoot to familiarize yourself with the campaign’s objectives and expectations.

Requirements:

  • Must be a real tradie with experience in the construction industry.
  • Open to male tradies aged 20s to 60s.
  • Whether applying as an individual or with a group of friends/workmates, candidates must have a natural camaraderie and authenticity.
  • Comfortable being on camera and following the direction of the production team.
  • Must be based in Sydney and available for both the shoot and rehearsal dates.

Compensation:

  • Talent Fee: $10,000 AUD per person (inclusive of all services and rights).
