Casting directors are now seeking talent for the upcoming feature film, “Dumb and Dumber to” filming in Atlanta, Georgia.

Dumb and Dumber To
will center on 20 years after the dimwits set out on their first adventure, they head out in search of one of their long lost children in the hope of gaining a new kidney (IMDB).

Carrey and Daniels have both signed on to reprise their roles of Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne, the daft duo at the center of the films. Bobby and Peter Farrelly, who wrote and directed the first film, will co-direct and co-produce the sequel.

The original film, made for $17 million, has grossed $247 million worldwide to date.

McFarland said he and Red Granite co-founder and current chairman Riza Aziz spent eight months negotiating the deal to secure and greenlight the sequel (WSJ).

We announced in August that “Dumb and Dumber To” will film in Atlanta this September, after the announcement of a crew call.

Now casting directors are seeking stand-ins for the feature film.
