Casting Call: Guest Services Coordinator

Job Summary: ATLFF is in search of a highly organized and detail-oriented Guest Services Coordinator to oversee all aspects of guest services for the 46th Atlanta Film Festival. This role entails coordinating travel, accommodation, and hospitality services for festival guests, including filmmakers and industry representatives. The Coordinator will also lead and mentor guest services liaisons, ensuring top-tier guest experiences throughout the event.

Key Responsibilities:

Travel:

• Arrange travel and accommodation for festival guests, including filmmakers, jury members, conference attendees, and sponsors.
• Manage arrivals and departures for special guests.
• Liaise with individuals and organizations arranging their own travel/hotel accommodations.
• Cultivate relationships with hospitality partners and hotels to optimize guest experiences while staying within budget.

Coordination:

• Collaborate with producers and distributors of marquee films on special requirements, press, and festival obligations.
• Coordinate special events and programs for filmmakers and special guests.
• Assist filmmakers in securing tickets for their screenings.
• Identify qualified liaisons for high-profile/special guests.

Database Management:

• Regularly update the master database with guest information, attendance dates, event participation, titles/roles, and festival involvement.
• Share guest attendance document with relevant stakeholders.
• Create and manage accreditation and credentialing processes.
• Establish and maintain a travel tracking document for all guests.

Additional Services:

• Outline duties/hours for filmmaker liaisons in consultation with the Executive Director and relevant staff.
• Participate in recruiting filmmaker liaisons.
• Develop basic filmmaker and guest etiquette guidelines for volunteers.
• Coordinate the assembly of VIP Guest gift bags.
• Supervise onsite guest services and check-in, ensuring proper staffing and resource availability.
• Assist with proofing festival communications featuring filmmaker and guest information.

Requirements:

• Previous professional experience in travel booking is mandatory.
• Proficient in written communication.
• Expertise in data tools such as Google Sheets and Airtable.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Casting Call: Payback Ep. 301

Role: NEIGHBORS

Description:

We are currently seeking a Black male or female actor to portray the role of [NEIGHBORS] for an upcoming episode of “Payback” on tvONE. This is a compelling and pivotal role in the storyline, and we are looking for a talented individual to bring this character to life.

Job Responsibilities:

• Portray the character [NEIGHBORS] in a believable and authentic manner.
• Act in scenes where [NEIGHBORS] is being interviewed by the police.
• Collaborate with the director and fellow cast members to deliver a captivating performance.
• Follow the provided script and contribute to the character’s development.

Requirements:

• Strong acting skills and the ability to convey a range of emotions.
• Availability for filming from October 25-27, 2023. Note that not all actors may be needed for all three days.

Role: PARAMEDICS

• Description: We are seeking male or female actors of open ethnicity for the role of Paramedics in “Payback Ep. 301.” The ideal candidates should have an athletic build and must be comfortable in staged crime scene settings.

Job Responsibilities:

• Portray paramedics responding to crime scenes with professionalism and authenticity.
• Collaborate with the production team to execute scenes as directed.
• Act in a manner consistent with the character description and the overall vision of the episode.
• Be punctual, reliable, and prepared to perform when called to set.

• Special Note: Must be comfortable with scripted violence and murder content. A prop gun will be used and pointed at talent. Must be at ease with being covered in fake blood. May also need to have a valid driver’s license and be capable of driving. Resemblance to attached photo is crucial.

• Execute scenes as per the provided script involving violence and murder content.
• Handle prop gun responsibly and follow all safety protocols during filming.
• Participate in scenes that involve fake blood, ensuring it’s applied as directed.

• We are seeking talented individuals to portray Police Officers 1-10 for an upcoming true crime recreation project.
• As Chateau Concorde Apt Police Officers, you will be reenacting real-life law enforcement scenarios and events.
• You will work closely with the production team to recreate authentic and compelling scenes that are integral to the special.

Job Detail: We are seeking talented performers for various roles in four exciting projects as part of the CFC Writers Lab Shorts “IN DEVELOPMENT.” These short films are an integral part of a creative learning experience and will provide you with an opportunity to showcase your skills in the vibrant world of filmmaking.
