[KAYAMA YEZAEMON] – 30’s -40’s. Baritone. A minor Samurai chosen by the Shogun to defend Japan against the foreigners, he later becomes a Governor of Uraga.
Over the years, Kayama embraces western ideology and customs, coming into tension with his friend, Manjiro. He is dutiful and honor-bound, proud.

The right candidate will establish and drive process and product content that delivers on our product and product marketing strategy. This position reports to: Senior Creative Director, Design

Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for successful delivery of one or more features while collaborating with colleagues internally and external partners from brand, agencies, and studios.
  • Prioritizes tasks, identifies dependencies, assesses risks, removes blockers and sends weekly status reports.
  • Identify and implement project management tracking system or software (Monday.com).
  • Recognizes areas for internal improvement and develops plans for implementation.
  • Develops and assesses metrics to support project targets/deliverables.
  • Creates workbacks and formulates approval process for each milestone/execution.
  • Anticipates bottlenecks and prioritizes issues to provide management escalation.
  • Tracks and implements project improvement plans to drive team efficiency and quality improvements.
  • Identifies, mitigates, and drives all risks and issues towards resolution.
  • Ensures goals and objectives for the team are in place and are being met.
  • Resolves any issues or disputes within the team in a collaborative way, ensuring team satisfaction and motivation.
  • Establish and manage folder structures for shared creative.
  • Runs daily ops meetings as needed towards milestones and launch.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of project management experience.
  • Interactive knowledge and/or experience across all platforms including Xbox, Playstation, PC, Mobile, and Web.
  • Experienced in working within guidelines, pitch cycles, and creative constraints
  • Education or work experience in related fields that apply directly to job responsibilities.

Desired Experience:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with merchandise and print on demand
  • Creative problem spotting and solving skills.
  • Familiarity with The Walking Dead, Invincible, and other Skybound IP
  • Experience with Shopify and Klayvio
  • Ability to context switch quickly, assess and take action.
  • Ability to prioritize and raise flags across development.
  • A professional, calm and action-oriented demeanor.

Job Type: Exempt, Full-time

Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000/year

Primary Responsibilities

  • Managing the creation and delivery of digital video and audio files to digital storefronts such as iTunes, Netflix and Amazon
  • Establishing a solid understanding of specific client specifications and needs
  • Managing multiple Digital Distribution projects from client order to delivery completion
  • Building strong working relationships with clients and focusing on delivering the highest quality assets on time
  • Liaising with multiple clients and Digital Partners and maintaining clear communication
  • Managing complex projects from beginning to end in a timely manner
  • Developing project plans and workflows, managing time, budget, resources and quality control
  • Managing, monitoring, and updating all timelines and setting realistic expectations for day to day deliveries to clients
  • Performing order entries based on client requests and ensuring final deliveries are within the expected timeframe
  • Working with the billing team to ensure projects are billed correctly and on time

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management

  • Experience in media industry and post-production workflows

  • Hands-on experience with digital media workflows is preferred
